The increase in online sales during the annual Black Friday promotion on the Westfalika.ru marketplace amounted to 44% in physical terms and 30% in monetary terms, compared to Black Friday in 2020. These results are due to a significant expansion of the range and more effective promotion.
According to Westfalika.ru analysts, footwear, outerwear and household goods were the top sellers in the action. At the moment, the assortment of outerwear on the marketplace totals more than 3600 SKU (raincoats, coats, winter jackets, down jackets, as well as eco-fur coats that appeared on the online marketplace in the autumn-winter season of 2021).
According to a press release from the company, in 2020, the range of products for the home was significantly expanded, which was facilitated by the company's transition to a marketplace model when working with suppliers. Cookware, small household appliances and other goods were added to home textiles (bed linen, towels, etc.). This category is one of the fastest growing on the westfalika.ru trading platform. Thus, the share of household goods in the retail revenue of the marketplace increased from 2% in 2018 to 14% in 9 months of 2021. In total, almost 10 million products were sold on the Westfalika marketplace in 2,7 months.
