Shoe production increased by 11%

According to Rosstat, over the 2013 year, Russia increased shoe production by 11% compared to the previous year - up to 114 million pairs.

At the same time, in December, shoe production increased by 35,6% in annual terms and by 6,4% in monthly terms to 10,5 million pairs. The production of suitcases, bags and similar products last year decreased by 26,7%, amounting to 19,4 million units.

Meanwhile, clothing production increased last year by 5,6%.
