Le Coc Sportif shoe production relocates to Argentina

Argentina-based Bicontinentar, which relaunched its athletic shoe line in May 2021, has announced that it will be making shoes for French brand Le Coc Sportif and will open a second line for Under Armor.

In less than a year, the company managed to include several brands in its portfolio, increasing its production lines from 8 to 10 and its staff from 50 to 500 people. Bicontinentar currently manufactures and assembles sports shoes for brands such as New Balance, Under Armor, Hush Puppies, Diadora, Penalty, Olimpikus, montagne, Attics, 47 Street, Lacoste and now also Le Coc Sportif.

“We are in high demand and hope to end the year by adding two more production lines and 100 workers. The idea is to end 2022 with 12 lines and 600 employees. We expect to expand to 14 or 16 lines, this will depend on the availability of resources to access the international supply chain and on the evolving international situation that allows the Argentine economy to grow,” said Juan Recche, CEO of Bicontinentar, BAE Negocios.
