This will be the German sportswear brand's first European flagship store. The exact location has yet to be announced, but it will be "just seconds from Selfridges and Bond Street tube station", close to other sportswear brands Adidas and JD Sports. The store is scheduled to open in the autumn.
The 2200-square-metre space will offer “an immersive and interactive experience that combines sporting achievements and technology with cutting-edge streetwear design.”
“Following the opening of our flagship store in Las Vegas last year, we are delighted to announce the opening of our first flagship store in Europe,” said Arne Freundt, CEO of Puma. “Our London flagship will play an important role in our strategy to enhance our brand positioning. It will bring the best of the Puma brand to our customers and showcase our latest innovations and design trends in a special, natural environment.”
Lucinda Davies, chief executive of Puma UK & Ireland, said London was an important city for the brand. “This prestigious location on Oxford Street reflects our commitment to creating unique, customer-focused experiences,” she added.
