Quiksilver has become the sponsor of the Russian national snowboarding team

One of the world's largest manufacturers of clothing and footwear for extreme sports, the American-Australian company Quiksilver, has been named the general sponsor of the Russian national snowboarding team.

According to the agreement, Quiksilver in 2012 becomes the official sponsor of the Russian national snowboarding team in all disciplines, including half pipe, parallel slalom, and snowboard cross.

“We chose Quiksilver because this brand has established itself all over the world as a manufacturer of high-quality equipment,” said Dmitry Averin, Deputy Sports Director for Equipment for Russian national teams. “Quiksilver produces high-tech clothing that not only meets the requirements of modern professional sports, but also the most comfortable and striking design.”

“We are developing snowboarding in Russia, helping athletes grow and achieve high results,” said Sergey Kondakov, CEO of Quiksilver Russia. “We are very happy to support our team ahead of the important competitions of this season and we want to wish them success and the highest awards in world competitions.” It is reported by advertology.ru
