Obuv Rossii plans to increase sales of related products

In 2012, Obuv Rossii tripled sales of related products under its own brands and will bring them to 300 million rubles.

According to the results of 2011, the share of sales of non-shoe products in the retail turnover of Shoe of Russia amounted to 5% or 100 million rubles. Now, non-shoe products are represented by leather goods (bags, gloves, belts), shoe cosmetics, hosiery, creams for foot care and other products. The plans for the 2012 year double the share of sales of related products and bring it to 10%, which will amount to 300 million rubles from the company's retail turnover.

“Shoes of Russia” began to pay special attention to the development of the “related products” direction since the 2010 of the year when a special unit was created in the company’s structure. What is noteworthy, “Obuv Rossii” develops related products under its own brands. So, fashion bags and tights are sold under the brand name Emilia Estra. Shoe cosmetics, helium insoles - under the Westfalika brand. And for a specialized line of foot creams, a separate brand, Westfalika Medicine, was created.

Thanks to the “related products” direction, “Obuv Rossii” receives an increase in retail revenue. In addition, the sale of non-shoe products under their own brands contributes to the growth of customer loyalty and brand awareness.
