Obuv Rossii plans to increase sales of related products

In 2012 Obuv Rossii will triple the sales of related products under its own brands and bring them to RUB 300 million.

At the end of 2011, the share of non-footwear sales in the retail turnover of Obuv Rossii amounted to 5% or 100 million rubles. Nowadays, non-shoe products are represented by leather goods (bags, gloves, belts), shoe care products, hosiery, foot care creams and other products. The plans for 2012 are to double the share of sales of related products and bring it to 10%, which will amount to 300 million rubles of the company's retail turnover.

Obuv Rossii began to pay special attention to the development of the “related products” direction since 2010, when a special division was created in the company structure. Remarkably, Obuv Rossii develops related products under its own brands. Thus, fashionable bags and tights are sold under the Emilia Estra brand. Shoe cosmetics, helium insoles - under the Westfalika brand. And for the specialized line of foot creams a separate brand "Westfalica Medicine" was created.

Thanks to the “related products” direction, Obuv Rossii receives an increase in retail revenue. In addition, selling footwear under our own brands increases customer loyalty and brand awareness.
