The Rospotrebnadzor of the Irkutsk Region, by a decision of the arbitration court, fined ZAO TsentrObuv Trade House for 100 thousand rubles for the sale of shoes with defects.
During a routine audit of compliance with consumer protection laws, inspectors checked 748 pairs of women's, men's and children's shoes in three stores in Irkutsk. All of it was made in China, for a total amount of 621 thousand rubles and was sold in TsentrObuv stores. Inspectors found violations of the requirements of technical regulations. They found manufacturing defects with 28 pairs of shoes in the CenterObuv store.
Recall, "TsentrObuv" - Russia's largest chain of shoe stores, is developing two network formats: traditional under the brand of the same name and the second - fast fashion - under the Centro brand. In addition to Russia, the company operates in Poland, Ukraine and Latvia.
