The outflow of labor migrants from Russia forces Ralf Ringer to actively look for production personnel for their factories. The company is ready to employ about 200 more people for its shoe production in Vladimir, Zaraysk, Moscow and Taldom.
According to Andrei Berezhny, CEO of Ralf Ringer, during the pandemic, his company - a Russian retailer and footwear manufacturer - lost more than a billion rubles in revenue. The sales volume was restored only by August, so in April Ralf Ringer's revenue was only 13%, and in May only 30% of the revenue of the same period last year.
Meanwhile, despite significant financial losses, the company is creating new jobs. The shortage of personnel at the enterprise was created as a result of the massive outflow of labor migrants from Russia during the Covid-19 quarantine period. Many workers from among labor migrants from the CIS countries returned to their homeland.
In addition, a year ago, Ralf Ringer launched the production of footwear on the basis of the Taldom shoe factory, which in recent years was on the verge of closure. Today Ralf Ringer has serious plans for the development of the factory, in the near future the staff of this production plant will be doubled. Ralf Ringer currently employs 2 people in its four factories.
