Russian footwear brand Ralf Ringer continues to pursue a sustainable development strategy and is moving to the use of environmentally friendly product packaging. The brand's shoe boxes will henceforth be made of cardboard made from recycled paper. The company encourages customers to also be mindful of nature and recycle the box after use.
In addition to the material used for packaging, Ralf Ringer has worked on the shape of the box, complementing it with a handle, which allows the buyer to dispense with the use of a bag. The brand also worked on the packaging design, and expects that it can serve the shoe buyer longer, becoming an interior item - Ralf Ringer advises storing shoes, accessories or toys in boxes.
This is not Ralf Ringer's first step in pursuing the concept of a conscious relationship to nature. So in the brand's stores this year, it became possible to hand over old and unnecessary shoes. The retailer sends these shoes for recycling, and the resulting raw materials go to the production of coatings for children's or sports grounds. In gratitude for supporting its eco-initiative, the company credits 500 bonuses for the purchase of a new pair of shoes.
