The measures taken have strengthened the control of customs value, plus the state is simultaneously developing a system for marking goods, which will work next year. By 2024, it is planned to create an absolutely transparent base of commodity circulation in Russia. The entire chain will be monitored from the receipt of goods in the country to the sale to its consumer. Each shoe box will have a QR code. For buyers, they will develop a mobile application that will let you know whether there is a product in the database or not.
According to a RBC study, every second pair of shoes in Russia is sold in the gray segment. Due to tax evasion, the annual loss of the state is - at least 22 billion rubles.
Also, according to a survey of Russian consumers conducted by RBC Market Research, 35,6% of respondents are willing to buy fake shoes. The shoe labeling experiment will begin in June 1.
