Rendez-Vous launches clothing production in Russia
Rendez-Vous is launching its own manufacturing facility in Russia, which will produce men's and women's clothing and accessories under the Maison David brand.
Founded in 2020 in France, the clothing and accessories brand Maison David was acquired by Rendez-Vous in 2025. The company has now decided to transfer some of the brand's clothing production, which was previously manufactured in factories in China, to Russia.
According to the retailer's press release, this approach will allow the company to organize a full production cycle, providing high-quality products with modern designs at reasonable prices.
The new 3000-square-meter facility will house a cutting shop, sewing workshops, and a quality control department. It will employ over 250 people. The company plans to develop three main areas: fur and tanned garments, textile outerwear, and knitwear.
Thus, under the Maison David brand, the Rendez-Vous premises will produce tank tops, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and suits from jersey cotton, lyocell, linen, ribbing, and footer. The outerwear workshop will work with wool, raincoats and jacket blends, as well as eco-leather and faux shearling. The fur workshop will produce fur coats, sheepleather coats, and seasonal accessories made from fur and doubleface shearling.
"Rendez-Vous is currently undergoing a major rebranding and renewal. We're changing our services, product range, visual style, and logo, and getting closer to our clients. Our marketing team is growing, and it's gaining more and more professionals with a modern approach to work.
