Retailers of the Sverdlovsk region face a widespread shortage of retail space
According to data provided by the Ministry of Trade, Food and Services of the Sverdlovsk Region, there are 22 000 retail outlets operating in the region. If this is a large format, clients often express their wishes regarding storage space either on the territory of a retail facility or in an area of acceptable transport accessibility, ”notes Olga Starkova, a specialist in the commercial real estate department of the Capital real estate group.
In the plans of the development department of the Ministry of Trade of the Sverdlovsk Region, the priority is to bring the indicator for the region to 670 sq. meters per inhabitant.
