Russia has grown in price

According to Brand Finance, the country's value as a brand is more than $ 1 trillion

The Rossiya brand is gradually increasing in value, but it is still far from the top five most valuable countries in the world, such as the USA, China and Germany. This conclusion can be made based on the data of the next Brand Finance report - Top-100 Most Valuable Nation Brands, which takes into account the investment and tourist attractiveness of countries, the dynamics of GDP growth and other parameters. In 2012, the value of the Rossiya brand, according to experts, was $ 1,058 trillion, compared with $ 847 billion last year.

The almost 30% increase in value helped Russia move up one spot from last year's ranking and three spots from 2010. The first place is still occupied by the United States, whose value is almost 15 times higher and amounts to $ 14,641 trillion. There have been no major changes in the top three this year - its composition has remained the same, but China has managed to move Germany down one line.

The fastest growing brands are countries such as Poland, Ukraine, Switzerland, China and Argentina. Poland's economy continues to grow, according to a report from Brand Finance, a country that managed to avoid the impact of the 2008 recession of the year. In addition, the rating of Poland, as well as the rating of Ukraine, was affected by the fact that the European Football Championship was held in 2012.

Russia is not among the fastest growing brand countries. She did not get into the twenty most powerful brands, where the primacy belongs to Singapore. In this sub-rating, one of the most important evaluation parameters is the so-called Brand Strength Index. The United States has the fastest growing index. Taiwan, the UK, Denmark, Switzerland, Malaysia, New Zealand, Japan, Brazil and Saudi Arabia are also among the ten fastest growing brands by this parameter.

Australia has become the most attractive brand in terms of tourism, while Singapore has the highest investment attractiveness. Switzerland is the best country to work and study in, the report says, and the US is the best brand to use its name to promote goods and services.

As for the continents, Europe remains the most valuable with a value of $ 17,5 trillion. The greatest growth was shown by South America, adding to the cost of 43%, mainly due to the growth of Brazil, writes sostav.ru.

According to Brand Finance, the value of the country as a trademark amounted to more than $ 1 trillion. The brand “Russia” is gradually growing in price, but is still far from the top five most valuable countries in the world, such as ...
