About 29% of Russian Internet shoppers plan to spend less money on New Year's gifts than last year. These are the results of a joint study by the company on the development of online trading services KupiVIP E-Commerce Services and the analytical agency Fashion Consulting Group.
Half of the respondents - 52% of 5 000 users KupiVIP is going to spend the same amount of money as on the New Year days of 2013 year, and 19% of users said they plan to spend more than last year's amount.
56% of online buyers are ready to spend up to seven thousand rubles on wardrobe items as a gift, up to 15 - 000%, up to 29 rubles - 30%. At the same time, only 000% of respondents said that they can spend up to 13 rubles on clothes before the New Year holidays.
53% of online shoppers found attractive New Year's online shopping, while about 41% of those surveyed intend to travel to a large shopping center for these purposes, another 5% will limit themselves to a trip to a small store.
At the same time, 63% of users prefer to pay in cash when making a purchase in an online store, 30% pay by credit card upon delivery and only 6% - by card via the Internet before receiving the goods.
