Russian shoe dry cleaning chain Sneaknfresh enters the US

Sneaknfresh founder Dmitry Morgunov plans to open 2025 dry cleaners in New York and other states of America in 10. The amount of investment in opening 10 shoe dry cleaners in the USA will be about $500 thousand, writes Retail.ru.

In Russia, the Sneaknfresh shoe dry cleaning chain was launched in 2020, and currently has about 100 locations open in different cities in Russia, other CIS countries, as well as in the Czech Republic and Germany. The chain is developing through franchising.

According to Morgunov, there are no chain players in the US market in the dry cleaning of clothes or shoes - 90% of the market is small private laundries that are outdated in terms of business, speed of service and service. "We plan to take the place of the first major chain player by opening about 2025 new Sneaknfresh points in different regions of the US by the end of 10," says the entrepreneur.

The successful concept of Sneaknfresh will be transferred to the USA, the branding and format of work, including three main blocks, will remain the same: the order acceptance point, the workshop and the logistics department. The company plans to place a great emphasis on delivery, which prevails in the service and household services segment in the USA. Sneaknfresh masters who received their qualifications in Russia will be attracted to work at the new points - they will build a system of training and coordination of new employees.
