Russian fashion brands increased revenue up to 40% after the exit of foreign companies

The President of the Russian Trade Center (RSTC), Dmitry Moskalenko, said that the revenue of Russian clothing brands rose to 40% after the departure of foreign companies, retailers are increasing their retail space, TASS reports.

According to Moskalenko, earlier retailers rented 500 sq. m. meters, now they are ready to consider stores up to 700-800 sq. meters, because "they see an increase in consumption and are ready to adjust their format to this."

Melon Fashion Group, which owns such brands as Zarina, Befree, Love Republique and Sela, takes an active position in this direction. Development prospects are also seen by Stockmann, Trend Island, Crocus Group department stores.
