In response to a request from the Russian Ministry of Defense, a large Russian footwear manufacturer, the Unichel factory in Chelyabinsk, has increased the production of berets for participants in the SVO in Ukraine. Also, many Dagestan factories reoriented to the production of military ammunition.
The Unichel company says that the demand for berets is growing with each new week. “Berets are needed so badly and urgently that the Ministry of Defense even turned a blind eye to small differences from military GOST,” the Mash Telegram channel says in a post.
Dagestan manufacturers also launched the production of footwear for the needs of military personnel. Sergey Melikov, head of the Republic of Dagestan, wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
“In today's conditions, some of our enterprises have mastered the production of new products, as they say, for the needs of the front. Dagestanis work conscientiously, so good military shoes or, for example, sleeping bags made by the hands of our craftsmen are in demand on the front line, ”Melikov wrote.
According to the head of the republic, several regions have already expressed their desire to purchase a large batch of Dagestan products.
