Large Russian shoe companies, such as Zenden, Tervolina, Unichel, Econika, refused the services of Turkish manufacturers. They had problems with Turkish products at the end of last year, despite the fact that the shoe sector was not officially sanctioned. In Turkey, Russian companies purchased up to 10% of their volumes. Now they are already replacing the necessary materials and components with goods from China, Romania, Brazil and other countries. Experts believe that the situation with the closure of Turkish borders may affect the increase in the cost of shoes in the middle price segment.
