In Moscow, within the framework of the federal wholesale fair "Textillegprom" on September 23-26, 2014 in pavilion No. 75 at VDNKh the exhibition "Leather. Footwear. Fur. Technology". It will feature the products of manufacturers of components for shoes and accessories (leather, textile and artificial materials, soles, chemical and finishing materials), as well as finished products: footwear, leather goods, hats.
In honor of the twentieth anniversary of the formation of the Russian Union of Leatherworkers and Shoemakers, Roslegprom and the industry union are organizing a reception. Members of the union and guests of the fair will take part in it.
Recall that the Russian Union of Leatherworkers and Shoemakers formed in the 1994 year, is a non-profit organization. The Union includes over 50 enterprises and organizations from 30 regions of Russia, as well as Belarus and Kazakhstan, including leather and shoe enterprises, chemical companies, a machine-building plant, the Central Research Institute of the Leather and Footwear Industry, two higher educational institutions: Moscow State University of Design and Technology, Russian Correspondence Institute of Textile and Light Industry. The main tasks of the Russian Union of Leatherworkers and Shoemakers are to interact with state, regional and other structures on issues of supporting and protecting the interests of the leather and footwear industry; assistance to members of the union in expanding sales markets and increasing production volumes; combining creative, scientific and technical potential to solve technological, raw materials and environmental problems; assistance to members of the union in the selection of qualified personnel; assistance in matters of international cooperation; consolidation of own and attraction of financial resources in order to invest in the development of production.
