Russian brand PlayToday has released its first leather footwear collection.

Russian brand PlayToday, which specializes in clothing and footwear for children and adults, is expanding its youth line and, for the first time, is including genuine leather footwear in its collection.

The decision was based on an analysis of consumer demand and is aimed at retaining the brand's growing audience and strengthening its offerings within the ready-to-wear concept, the company noted.

This season, PlayToday has added genuine leather footwear to its collection for the first time. This marks an important step in the brand's development of its product range and ready-to-wear concept for children and teenagers.

The new shoe collection combines contemporary, original design with high-quality materials. The size range has also been expanded: boys' sizes up to size 46, girls' sizes up to size 41.

This strengthens PlayToday's position among the teenage audience and in the family shopping concept, where comfort, practicality, and visual relevance are particularly important.

In addition to the development of the footwear line, PlayToday has significantly expanded its accessories offering for the spring/summer collection, including bags, belts, cosmetic bags, sunglasses, and decorative accessories.

In time for the rainy season, the range has been expanded with practical solutions for the transitional season. The collection now includes waterproof raincoats and trousers, as well as umbrellas and rubber boots with and without linings. All elements of the rain capsule are designed to match the style and color scheme of the main collections.

For the Spring/Summer 2026 season, PlayToday reimagined its approach to its teen product line. Based on demand analysis and preference research, the brand created separate mini-collections for children over 12, separating them from the capsule collections for younger age groups.

While the baby collections continue to emphasize vibrant prints, recognizable characters, and functional details, the brand's teen range is built on a different style: trendy silhouettes, a subdued palette, clean cuts, and high-tech materials. At the same time, the designers have preserved the PlayToday DNA, adapting it to a new visual language through original details, signature prints, and expressive accents, making the brand's collections recognizable and emotionally relatable.

A key change this season is the expansion of the size range: up to 176 cm for girls and up to 182 cm for boys. PlayToday thus meets market demand for modern teenage clothing that combines trendy design, comfort, and a good fit for children of varying heights.

"We're consistently developing categories where we see strong demand from our audience. Teenagers stay with the brand longer, but their product expectations change rapidly. Therefore, this season, we've strengthened this focus: we've redesigned our teen line, expanded our size range, and introduced genuine leather footwear for the first time. For us, this is a natural stage in the brand's development, which strives to remain relevant and family-friendly for years to come, offering ready-made, well-thought-out, and high-quality solutions for a variety of ages and lifestyles," comments Irina Zaytseva, PlayToday's Marketing Director.

PlayToday is a leader in the children's clothing category in Russia. The brand has been operating in the market for over 22 years and specializes in ready-made and technologically advanced solutions for children and adults. The company is among the top 5 e-commerce brands by clothing sales, according to RBC, and is developing a network of company-owned and franchised stores across Russia.
