Russian startup Sarafan has developed a service that allows fashion brands to attract customers to online stores directly from Instagram

Anetika has created a tool that allows Instagram users to search for clothes, shoes, and accessories by picture (photos) in online stores.

Thanks to the Sarafan service, the user of the social network gets the opportunity to quickly find out in which online store you can buy the thing that he saw in the photo on the blog, just click on the Sarafan link that will be present under the photo. She will direct him directly to the online store, in the assortment of which there is a thing he likes.

The service can be used by brands that have an online store with photos of goods. Payment for the Sarafan service by the brand is the cost of a click or one click on the Sarafan link to its website.

Thus, for fashion brands, the service provides an opportunity to attract customers, while for bloggers it gives the opportunity to earn extra money. By installing the Sarafan app, the blogger gets paid for every click on the sarafan link under the photo on his blog.

Currently, the service is testing a number of shoe brands, for example, Ralf Ringer and Econika.

At the same time, Anetika is working to attract popular Instagram bloggers, whose audience is more than 1000 people, and blogs are close to fashion.

“For bloggers, Instagram is an opportunity to earn extra money, for brands, it is an opportunity to attract already interested customers,” comments Anetika CEO Andrei Korhov.

Specialists of Socialist Media, whose business area includes three key areas - native advertising, performance projects, integration into games and applications, called the idea of the Sarafan project interesting. However, according to Mikhail Polyakov, head of performance projects at Socialist Media, it’s still hard to understand how this service can compete in effectiveness with targeted advertising and advertising with bloggers.

Platform Sarafan is based on neural network computing technology that combines fashion and eCommerce. Sarafan himself. AI was built on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The application uses the resources of Microsoft Cognitive Services for the operation of self-learning neural network algorithms, computer vision and machine learning, on the basis of which the recognition system functions. Sarafan element. AI can be integrated into social networks or media sites.
