Footwear price growth in 2025 will remain at the level of inflation
Price increases for footwear and clothing in Russia for the first three quarters of 2025 were in line with inflation – 6% and 9%, respectively, Kommersant reports, citing analytics from the My Warehouse service.
In the previous two years, price increases were more significant. In 2023, footwear prices increased by 29%, and in 2024, by 17%.
Experts attribute the moderate price growth this year to declining consumer demand and the relative stability of the exchange rate, but expect that new factors, including increased tax burdens and customs duties, will impact prices as early as 2026.
Fashion Consulting Group provides a current breakdown of shoe price segments, in thousands of rubles per pair. Mass-market – 5-10 rubles; mid-range – 15-25 rubles; bridge – 30-60 rubles; premium – 60-100 rubles; luxury – from 120 rubles.
