The Obuv Rossii group of companies signed an agreement with the Russian representative office of Warner / Chappell on the acquisition of the rights to use a fragment of the song of the famous British band Bee Gees - Stayin` Alive. The song is the soundtrack for the new Westfalica commercial, which will be released on September 20. The agreement grants the right to use a fragment of this piece of music for the period of the advertising campaign - until the end of 2012.
The Bee Gees are one of the most successful bands in the history of music. The Gibb brothers, who were the backbone of the group, have created over two hundred hits. The Bee Gees gained the greatest popularity in the 80s - in the era of disco. The song Stayin 'alive - the soundtrack to the iconic film Saturday Night Fever - is perhaps their most famous composition. It is with this song that the Bee Gees are associated. In Russia, in 2008, singer Valeria performed the hit Stayin` Alive with the author Robin Gibb.
