Over the past 12 months, the vacancy on the five main shopping corridors of St. Petersburg has almost halved - from 10,2% in the first quarter of 2022 to 5,6% in the first quarter of 2023, Nikoliers analysts calculated. The number of openings exceeded the number of closures, and there was only one free space left on Rubinshteina Street.
From April 2022 to March 2023, 108 new retail outlets were opened on five shopping thoroughfares of St. Petersburg (Nevsky and Staro-Nevsky prospects, B. This is less than in 2021 (then there were 126 openings), however, the number of closures over the past 12 months has also decreased: 93 closures instead of 115 in 2021.

In addition, over the three months of 2023, two new Russian brands that were not previously represented in the city appeared on the main shopping streets: Oxouno (instead of B&C for junior) and NN2sisters, and the number of temporarily closed stores was reduced to seven: Prada and Zara signs were not removed yet , Brunello Cucinelli, Dior/Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Chanel.
