Advertising campaign нnew collection of the Italian luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo spring-summer'21 edited from bits of the film, which was directed by Oscar nominee Luca Guadagnino for the presentation of the collection during Milan Fashion Week in September 2020.
The portfolio of the current collection of the brand was created from short video clips, to put together this presentation, the film director and creative director of Salvatore Ferragamo, Paul Andrew, spent several hours watching the film shot for this collection, frame by frame.
As Paul Andrew confesses, it was a fascinating process that led him to cut open pre-made clothes and vintage shoes to reveal the secrets of their manufacture.
“We found that the shots in which we found the perfect direction of light, focus and angle invited you to pay attention to the things we worked on in the film: the texture and boldness of the collection, the interaction of aesthetics between the construction of accessories and the architecture of Milan, the influence of the palette Technicolor and the mystery of character motives. We hope this portfolio will entice the viewer to imagine themselves in this stunningly chic setting and see themselves in Ferragamo as the star of their intriguing life stories, ”he said.
