The Russian online shoe store Sapato.ru, according to some sources, is cutting half of its staff. According to the expert of the e-commerce market Sergey Egorushkin, "Andrey Kashirin will be the new gender. Sapato itself will become a marketplace."
In the near future, the store plans to sell its assortment at great discounts. According to Yegorushkin, the company "is about to publish information about the changes officially."
So far, these data have been confirmed by Maria Nazamutdinova, PR director of Ozon.ru, but said that there are no reductions in the company.
Nazamutdinova emphasized that the marketplace - a platform for placing goods of other merchants - has existed on Sapato.ru for more than a year and a half.
