Sergio Rossi opens second US boutique

The Italian luxury brand Sergio Rossi has opened a flagship store in New York, thereby confirming its intention to actively develop in the US market. This is the second brand boutique in the States, the first was opened in Las Vegas, writes Footwearnews.com

According to the company, the American market is the leader for the brand in the segment of online sales.

In December, the 2015 business of Sergio Rossi was acquired by Investindustrial, from which moment the brand restarted. With the new general manager, Riccardo Sciutto, the brand launched the new SR1 shoe models in the 2016 year, focusing its development efforts on European and Asian markets. The strategy included updating Sergio Rossi's flagship stores in Milan and Paris, as well as opening stores in Rome and Beijing.

“Half of our business is in Asia, and the rest is divided between Europe and America,” says Suto. - Turning to our customers, we always sought to tell about our history by launching various projects and finding new exclusive perspectives for each market. Today you need to think globally, and the US market is our new opportunity. This is a country where we have a chance to build a strong business, progressively following the chosen strategy. "

The New York Sergio Rossi store is located on Madisson Avenue, 680. Customers in the new store will be offered the service of customizing shoes, which will allow you to purchase slippers, shoes and sneakers SR1 in an exclusive design. In addition, in honor of the launch of retail in New York, the brand has released a special capsule collection of sandals, which will be presented only in a boutique on Madisson Avenue.

After Angelo Ruggeri left the post of brand’s design director in May 2016, Sergio Rossi collections are developed by his own design team. Among the "star" clients of Sergio Rossi there are such celebrities as Beyoncé, Rita Ora, Ariana Grande and others.
