Sergio Rossi strengthens its presence in the Chinese market

Italian luxury shoe brand Sergio Rossi has attracted billionaire entrepreneur Andrien Cheng to expand its presence in the Chinese market, writes Footwearnews.

The brand will be managed and distributed in Hong Kong and Shanghai by Sergio Rossi in partnership with Chenga Luxba Group. Thus, the Italian luxury brand of shoes expects to accelerate its growth in the Chinese market.

Luxba is also engaged in developing brands such as Moschino, Love Moschino, Red Valentino, Yves Salomon and Dsquared2 in the Chinese market, the group helps brands enter the Chinese market and develop their own retail in the country.

Sergio Rossi CEO Riccardo Sciutto said the partnership will be built on a new brand strategy that aims to reach a young audience. To this end, the brand launched the sr1 collection, which included a new rethought of the 10 most recognizable brand models. A number of promotions have been initiated in support of the collection.
