The Shoe of Russia chain in 2018 has expanded by 48 stores

In the 4 quarter of 2018, 28 of new stores were opened under the S-TEP and Lisette brands owned by Obuv Rossii. As a result, over the year, the retail holding increased by 48 stores. All retail outlets are opened by the Shoe of Russia franchising partners.

As a result, at the end of 2018, the number of franchised stores of Obuv Rossii Group amounted to 161. In general, the retail network of Shoe of Russia now has 725 stores. Retail outlets are open under the brands Westfalika (single-brand classic shoe store), Pedestrian (multi-brand shoe supermarket), Rossita (store for the whole family), Emilia Estra and Lisette (women's fashion showrooms), S-TEP (casual shoes).

Obuv Rossii is developing a retail network as part of an investment program announced in the fall of 2017. (In October of the 2017 of the year, Shoes of Russia raised 5,9 billion rubles during an IPO on the Moscow Exchange). The franchising program was resumed by the holding in July 2018, in the fall its development was very active. The company is increasing its presence in the regions, opening stores in settlements with a population of 50 thousand inhabitants. In small cities, the cost of launching new outlets is lower and the level of competition is not so high.

“Our franchisees are wholesale customers of the company with whom we have been working for many years and to whom we have proposed a new format of cooperation,” comments Anton Titov, Director of Obuv Rossii Group of Companies. - The development of the franchise program allows us to cover new cities and regions in which we are not yet represented by our own retail. This year, we plan to further strengthen our position in the Russian shoe market, expanding our retail network in both large and small cities. ”

The main business area of ​​the Group is the production and sale of footwear and related products. The company operates 725 stores under the brands Westfalika, Pedestrian, Rossita, Emilia Estra and Lisette, and also develops shoes and clothing brands for an active lifestyle S-tep, all.go and Snow Guard, owns two shoe factories in the Novosibirsk region.

In accordance with the audited financial results of the Group according to IFRS, in 2017 the revenue amounted to 10,8 billion rubles, net profit - 1,3 billion rubles, EBITDA - 2,74 billion rubles.
