Shoe designer Charlotte Dellal, with the help of Studio in a School, helped New Yorkers get closer to the art world and gave them the opportunity to create their Charlotte Olympia shoe designs.
As a result, 20 schoolchildren worked on the appearance of the Dolly model from Charlotte Olympia. They offered really extraordinary solutions: they decorated one pair of shoes with a print with M & M's sweets, another with graffiti paint, and the third with transparent crystals.
Charlotte was able to appreciate the children's creations during a party at the Gagosian Gallery, during which she presented the result of this atypical collaboration with schoolchildren. “I can't pick the best ones, it's completely impossible,” the designer said when she saw how her Charlotte Olympia shoes were designed.
