The results of the 6th international b2b shoe exhibition ShoesStar were summed up in Yekaterinburg. The exhibition, organized by the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was held at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center. The total area of the exposition was 3 sq. M. For three days, from August 000 to September 30, ShoesStar was visited by more than 1 people, including the heads of retail shoe stores and chains, who, according to preliminary data, ordered about 700 thousand pairs.
The exhibition hosted the presentation of the Spring-Summer 2014 shoe collections by manufacturers and suppliers from 14 countries: Germany, China, Poland, Turkey, Finland, France, Portugal, Spain, Southeast Asia, India, Italy, Brazil, Belarus and Russia .
In addition to acquaintance with new models of leading world brands, a number of important and useful events were held as part of the exhibition. An open seminar of the Fashion Consulting Group agency was held on marketing, commercial merchandising, and procurement for the next season.
The administration of Yekaterinburg represented by the Committee on the Commodity Market, NP "Society of Commodity Managers of Yekaterinburg" and the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a round table on the topic: "Aspects of the quality and safety of footwear in the framework of the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union. Major violations of consumer rights ”. The discussion was attended by manufacturers and suppliers of footwear - participants in the ShoesStar shoe exhibition and heads of shoe stores. Fashion Show Spring-Summer 2014 was held, organized by Fashion Model. The show was attended by 15 brands. An amateur football match for the ShoesStar Cup was also held between the Interregional Non-Profit Partnership of Shoe Workers and the Ural Partnership of Defense Industry Enterprises, which won the hard fight for the palm. On September 1, a feedback session was held with exhibitors, where everyone shared their impressions, voiced proposals for the future and received a memorable diploma from ShoesStar.
Recall that ShoesStar is held twice a year: in spring and autumn, and is the only major specialized exhibition in the Ural Federal District.
