From Monday, 10 of September, Russian Post launches a new route for delivering shipments from China to the Far East, the Urals and Siberia via Vladivostok, RBC writes with reference to a representative of Russian Post.
Unregistered shipments: letters, postcards, packages, parcels weighing less than 2 kg. Now they will be delivered from China to the Far East, the Urals and Siberia by sea via Vladivostok. We are talking about goods worth less than $ 10. According to the Association of Internet Commerce Companies (AKIT), in 2017, out of 290 million cross-border shipments, 91% of shipments were from China. In Chinese online stores, Russian citizens spent 2017 million rubles in 198 during the year, with the average check of purchases in Chinese online stores being $ 10.
It is assumed that the new route will account for up to 40% of AliExpress sales in Russia.
