St. Petersburg Fashion Week will be held at the Alexandria Theater

The venue for the St. Petersburg Fashion Week fall-winter 2015 / 2016 season will be the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater, organizers report.

Another important creative partnership in the new season, the organizers note the collaboration in creating the image of SPbFW with the young fashion illustrator Jay Suk Kim from Seoul. The artist's work has already been appreciated by the largest fashion houses such as Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino. In addition, Jay Suk's portfolio includes works for Bloomingdales, Style.com Korea, Vogue Russia, Korea, Vogue Girl, GQ.

According to Jay Suk Kim himself, in his collaboration with St. Petersburg Fashion Week, he wanted to combine the courage and appeal of Russian fashion, which he saw on his recent trip to Moscow, with the unique DNA of our city. His vision of the image of St. Petersburg Fashion Week is "a reflection of the rich cultural and historical heritage of St. Petersburg, combined with modern fashion and the self-identification of the fashion community in Russia."

Recall that the next season of St. Petersburg Fashion Week will be held from 2 to 5 on April 2015 under the patronage of Fashion Syndicate St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg Fashion Week annually presents on its site the author’s collections and pret-a-porter lines of Russian and foreign designers and opens the names of debutants in fashion. The participants of the event are clients of fashion houses, representatives of the business elite, socialites, fashion professionals, owners and top managers of salons, buyers, journalists from leading professional and glossy magazines, fashion analysts and critics.
