Sporty high boots made of snow-white leather and mesh, up to the ankle and calf, are the result of the Stella McCartney x Adidas collaboration. The model combines fashion and athleticism. The basis is the silhouette of boxing boots, but the emphasis on the lacing, white-white color, signature three stripes, and the fact that some models are decorated with tassels on the back give the sports model a chance for a new interpretation.
Stella McCartney has extensive experience with Adidas. In September 2010, she was appointed creative director of Team Great Britain at the 2012 Olympic Games by Adidas. It was the first time in the history of the Games that a leading fashion designer designed the team's clothing for all events at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. McCartney's husband Alasdair Willis is also associated with the German sports brand, as he is Adidas' chief creative officer.
The designer herself has released a number of colorful and eco-friendly shoe designs as part of her partnership with the brand, including the Ultraboost 5, Earthlight 2.0, and Low Ground.
