On November 1, the incubator’s website began voting for the brightest participants; it will end on December 12 on 2012 of the year. And 2 of the winner will be announced no later than January 4 of 2013 of the year. In real time, participating designers will be able to follow the voting process.
The incubator is created by Chicago-based retailer Hanig's Footwear and is supported by shoe brands Fly London, Tsubo, Merrell, Dansko, Arche and ECCO. The incubator is managed by OurHelix agency.
Peter Hanig, head of the incubator, according to Footwear News, is in the TOP 100 of the most influential people in the shoe market.
“The shoe industry needs a fresh, new product and I hope we get a lot of innovative projects from the contestants,” he said.
The winner of the main prize, which will be determined by the decision of the jury, will receive two trips, the first to Portugal, to the Fly London factory, and the second, to one of the American headquarters of the European brand - at the choice of the judging committee.
The second winner will be announced by an online vote at HanigsDesign.com. This winner will receive 1000 dollars in cash and another equivalent in the amount of $ 1000 for marketing and merchandising consultations. Based on materials from the site analpa.ru.
