Tamaris and Jana shoes to create the new Tamaris COMFORT range

The German brand Tamaris has decided to launch a new line in the segment of comfortable women's shoes and has attracted another brand of the Wortmann group - Jana shoes for cooperation. Now, in addition to developing its own collection, Jana shoes will also be engaged in the creation, production and distribution of footwear models of various sizes under the Tamaris COMFORT brand. The first collection of the new brand will be presented in the fall-winter 2022 season.

As stated in the Tamaris press release, by handing over the Tamaris COMFORT brand to Jana shoes, the Detmold-based family business is responding to the rapidly changing needs of its customers. “We want to gain a foothold in this growing market, including through our renowned Tamaris brand, and therefore have decided to partner with Jana shoes, a company with over 20 years of experience in the comfort footwear market,” says Jens Bining, CEO of the Wortmann Group. “Jana's competence in the creation and distribution of collections on the one hand, and the strong Tamaris brand on the other, will result in a reliable and fruitful collaboration. Our product group partners will now have competent distribution specialists in each segment to ensure sales are tailored to the individual requirements of any retail outlet. ”

Tamaris COMFORT prioritizes shoe comfort. Thanks to the optimal fit and different weights of the models, Tamaris COMFORT shoes provide freedom of movement and guarantee comfort to wear. All models are equipped with a removable ergonomic insole. “We are delighted that we can best meet the needs of the comfortable footwear segment not only under the Jana brand, but also under the Tamaris COMFORT brand. Specializing in servicing both internal and external customers is the key to success! ”Comments Michael Romberg, Managing Director of Jana shoes. Tamaris COMFORT prices will be within the main price range of 7490-10490 rubles. In the future, the Jana brand will focus on the initial price range of 3290-6990 rubles.

Wortmann Group from Detmold, known primarily for its footwear brand Tamaris, is the largest footwear company in Europe. She occupies a leading position in the market of fashionable women's shoes. Her collections are offered in more than 70 countries around the world and in more than 15 shoe stores. Along with the main Tamaris brand, the group of companies includes brands such as Marco Tozzi, Caprice, Jana and s.Oliver shoes. In the Asian region, the Wortmann group is represented by Novi Footwear International Co. Ltd., located in Hong Kong.
