Obuv Rossii introduced electronic document management

In early May, Obuv Rossii completed a project to introduce electronic document management. The new software module is part of the company's ERP system, which is built on the basis of 1C 8.2. Now the head office and all separate subdivisions are connected to the electronic document flow - these are 23 regional offices throughout Russia - from St. Petersburg and the Moscow region to Vladivostok and Khabarovsk.

“The introduction of electronic document management is one of the stages of business process automation in a company. The project began at the end of 2011. For this purpose, a solution based on 1C 8 Document Management was chosen, - comments Dmitry Karpenko, IT Director of Obuv Rossii. - Since the company has been working with the 1C system for a long time, it was possible to introduce electronic document management based on this program in a short time. The project was implemented by the Obuv Rossii IT service within three months, without the involvement of external consultants. "

Thanks to the introduction of electronic document management in Obuv Rossii, the speed of making managerial decisions has increased, and the routes of passage and approval of documents within the company have been optimized. The electronic document management system also acts as a repository of the company's regulatory framework, facilitates the search for documents, excludes their loss. In addition, it allows employees on business trips to remotely work with documents via the Internet.
