Tod's Group has published the second volume of the book "Italian Hands – Artisanal Stories From Italy".
The first volume was dedicated to the iconic Tod's Gommino moccasin model, as the embodiment of the essence of Italian craft traditions. The second volume of the book also sings an ode to craft intelligence.
It tells, with photographs and texts, about Italian craftsmen who, in various sectors of the craft arts, with passion and dedication, contribute to preserving a fundamental part of Italy's cultural identity.
Tod's CEO Diego Della Valle has long promoted the concept of artisanal intelligence, as opposed to artificial intelligence. His book celebrates "the hands of artisans, but also the faces of those who collaborate with the artisans themselves to keep the tradition alive; it pays tribute to the excellence of Made in Italy and the Italian way of life.
An online version of the illustrated edition (in English) is available on the Tod's website, with the option to flip through the pages.
