Fashion is once again celebrating craftsmanship. Italian luxury footwear and accessories brand Tod's has released a collaboration with Indian designer Rahul Mishra. The Rahul Mishra X Tod's collection includes shoes and bags with exquisite embroidery handcrafted by Indian artisans. The collaboration was presented at the Italian brand's party at the opening of London Fashion Week on September 13.
Gommino moccasins, loafers and mules decorated with floral embroidery, in gold, beige and black, have acquired an oriental touch and haute couture quality.
The Indian designer has also developed a new series of Di de Tod's bags. The clutches are woven with gold threads, glass beads, fabric flowers and glittering parrots. Embroidery with fauna elements, as well as a drawing depicting the majestic Tree of Life, are iconic motifs in the Indian brand's designs.
Rahul Mishra, the first Indian designer to participate in Paris Fashion Week with his Spring-Summer 2024 collection. The Rahul Mishra X Tod's collaboration is part of the project of the Italian brand Tod's Factory.
