On June 6 at Lotte Hotel Moscow, an exclusive INFOLine & Retailer Russia TOP-100 DAY event will be held, which will bring together leading professionals and top managers from retail. Guests of the event will take part in the original talk show “100 questions for TOP-100”, hear about the results of the work of the first hundred Russian retail chains last year and, most importantly, find out which of the retailers entered the new INFOLine & Retailer Russia TOP-100 rating by the results of 2011
A detailed analysis of TOP-100 will take place during the session “The effectiveness of the first hundred Russian retail chains in figures and comments based on the results of the 2011 year, the prospects of 2012”. Comments will be given by top managers of companies that are among the three leaders in their retail segment in the TOP-100 rating based on the results of 2010.
Andrei Nesterov, General Director of CJSC TD CenterObuv, was invited by Retailer Publishing House to INFOLine & Retailer Russia TOP-100 DAY as the speaker of the analytic session “The Efficiency of the First Hundred Russian Retail Networks in Figures and Comments Based on the 2011 Year Results, 2012 Prospects”.
“On the shoe market, there were no significant events in 2011. The increase in duties in the Customs Union was actively discussed, but no final decision was made on this issue. The market volume grew by 5%, while the higher growth rate of the low price segment provided it with an increase in market share to 55,4% in real terms. Sales of TsentrObuv in 2011 grew by almost 40% and amounted to $ 1 billion. The number of stores reached 800.
In 2012, we also do not expect any shocks in the market and forecast market growth at the level of 10-12% in value terms. Trends associated with increased sales in the low price segment and increased sales in modern retail will also continue. In 2012, CenterObuv intends to launch another 371 outlet and increase revenue by at least 35%. To support development plans, TsentrObuv intends to consider issues related to attracting two loans from Sberbank and Gazprombank for a total amount of 7 billion rubles. "
Detailed financial results of the work of 100 of the largest retail chains in Russia, as well as performance and market dynamics indicators will be announced at INFOLine & Retailer Russia TOP-100 DAY 6 in June at Lotte Hotel Moscow, retailer.ru reports.
