Trade will not be able to operate under the simplified tax system

Following a meeting with members of Delovaya Rossiya, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to develop a bill on the parameters for applying the simplified tax system and the gradual abolition of this tax system. The abolition of the special regime will affect those engaged in trade activities, that is, the resale of purchased goods, writes Kontur.

It is planned that the simplified tax system for trade will not be cancelled all at once, but in stages. At first, most likely, organizations and individual entrepreneurs with high turnover will not be able to use the simplified tax system, then gradually the revenue threshold for obtaining the right to use the simplified tax system for trade will be reduced.

This decision was made in order to eliminate gray schemes and tax evasion. The abolition of the simplified tax system for trade will make it impossible to use such schemes and will lead to an increase in budget revenues.

Legislators have already refused to transfer the trading activities of individuals to self-employment, and wholesale trading activities are not subject to the patent taxation system.
