A third of online shopping in Russia is made from smartphones

A survey of Russian online shoppers conducted by Yandex. Market and GfK Rus, showed that about a third of online purchases are made from smartphones.

According to the results of the study, the vast majority of this audience falls on women (75%) and residents of medium-sized cities (77%).

About 58% of respondents admitted that they look at websites or mobile applications of their favorite stores almost every day.

The study notes that shoppers are more likely to use their smartphones when choosing a product than when placing an order. Moreover, the higher the purchase price, the less likely it will be processed from a mobile.
