SEC “Afimall City” records a steady increase in traffic since the beginning of the year

On the eve of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, analysts at the Afimall City shopping and entertainment center in Moscow summed up the attendance of the shopping complex from January to May 2018. Over the five months of 2018, Afimall City was visited by about 13 million people, which is 31% more than the number of visitors for the same period last year.

Experts note that a new exhibition and business season began in February: visitors to Expocenter and employees of Moscow City traditionally come to Afimall in the afternoon and evening. A wide pool of restaurant concepts allows you to sample dishes of national cuisines of the world, and a diverse entertainment component provides complete leisure after a working day.

According to experts, during the May holidays there is an outflow of buyers from district shopping centers to large facilities located in the city center. Data from the meters of Afimall City shopping center confirm traffic growth by 39% in May 2018 compared with last year's figure for this month.

According to the city authorities, during the World Cup 2018, more than a million football fans will come to Moscow, according to analysts at Afimall City shopping center, such a tourist flow can provoke a 20% increase in traffic to Afimall City during the mundial.

In the second half of 2018, Afimall City plans to open stores of several unique fashion brands that have long been expected in the Russian market.

AFIMALL City is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in the center of Moscow. The complex includes 6 ground floors, as well as 3 levels of underground parking. Shopping galleries accommodate more than 300 stores, the food court area - more than 50 restaurants and cafes. The complex is located in the heart of the business district of the capital - Moscow City. Entrance to shopping galleries is carried out directly from the metro stations Vystavochnaya and Delovoy Tsentr.

In the entertainment area of ​​the shopping and entertainment center there is a Formula Kino multiplex and an active recreation center Kosmik. Among the shops represented in AFIMALL City: Zolotoe Yabloko, Banana Republic, GAP, TSUM Discount, Crate and Barrel, UGG, Alenka brand store and others.
