Trussardi introduced a new model of Gita Bag

The launch of the Gita Bag marks a new era in the history of the Italian luxury brand. The shape of the bag was spied on in the historical archives and rethought taking into account the latest trends.

The debut of the new it-bag took place as part of the Trussardi Vienna-Summer 2018 show in Milan. The name Gita Bag comes from the Italian word for “day trip”. The new model combines vintage chic and modern trends, becoming a true embodiment of universal elegance. Made in the best traditions of the Trussardi brand, which creates beautiful and practical accessories, the Gita Bag is presented in three sizes (large, medium and mini) and is ideal for both business days and weekend trips out of town.

The design of the model refers to the classic shape of a tote bag with a square bottom, and the curved top gives a new silhouette to the familiar silhouette. Soft sliding side parts create visual volume, while decorative leather straps complete the bag's elegant design.

The iconic details inherent in the Trussardi brand emphasize the unique elegance of the Gita Bag. Contrasting seams on the handles and around the perimeter of the bag remind of the high craftsmanship of the handmade, and the silhouette of the model is emphasized thanks to the contrasting edging. The silver inscription “Trussardi Milano” is printed on the top of the bag, as a sign of Italian production “Made in Italy”. The brand logo in the form of the capital “T” is presented in the form of a removable leather keychain, which has become an invariable attribute of Trussardi accessories.

Gita Bag is made of calfleather in six fashionable bright shades - the color of lemon peel, pale pink, red, light blue, black and brown. In the exotic version, the Gita Bag is made of smooth Elaphe leather.

In the Spring-Summer 2018 collection, the Gita Bag is presented in a variety of colors and designs, with python-print trims and the classic Trussardi monogram, while the airplanes depicted on the bags continue the aviation theme in a new design.
