The operator of the marking system, the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRTC), has decided to issue codes for the remnants of shoe products for free. They can be ordered before 1 March 2020 year, after this date the circulation of unmarked shoe products will be prohibited.
“The decision made on the free labeling of residues will have a positive effect on the shoe market. This is an important and correct decision! Due to the fact that there are a lot of balances on the market, especially for small businesses, they will be able to invest the savings in their own development, ”commented Natalya Demidova, Director General of the National Shoe Union
Codes for new products from October 1 will become paid and will cost 50 kopecks excluding VAT on the basis of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation from 08.05.2019 N 577. To make a payment, the corresponding functionality will appear in the system.
To continue working in your personal account, all participants in the turnover of goods must sign agreements for connecting to the system and receiving codes, as well as for access to issue registrars. They are necessary for the protection of codes by cryptography and will be provided to the participants of the MDGs at their own expense. Manufacturers and importers will have access to a personal device, while wholesale and retail companies will have access to a single operator emission registrar.
“During the experiment, we tested the full functionality of the system with various participants in the turnover and are confident that the process will not raise questions. To date, more than 6 thousand participants are registered in the project and more than 130 million pairs of shoes are marked. The decision to issue free codes for marking balances was made jointly with the industry. This will help the business to mark shoe residues in full and within the time period established by regulatory documents, ”said Vera Volkova, head of the product group Obuv TsRPT
Registration of participants in the turnover of footwear began on July 1, 2019. From October 1, 2019, access to devices for registering the emission of marking codes is provided, voluntary labeling and transmission of information to the monitoring system begins, and labeling of footwear remains begins. From March 1, 2020, the circulation of unmarked footwear is prohibited. Prior to April 1, 2020, mark residues purchased before March 1, 2020, but received after March 1, 2020.
