MDGT: Until August 1, information on the remains of marked shoes should be transferred to the Honest Sign system
Participants in the shoe market must submit detailed information on the balances of shoes marked but not sold before July 1, 2020, to the Honest SIGN marking system by August 1, 2020. Such shoes can be in legal circulation after August 1, ”recalls the labeling operator of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (CRPT).
According to the press release of the MDCT, in the event that the company did not enter into circulation or did not inform by August 1 about the remains of its marked products, these shoes will be deemed illegal in the future, and information about attempts to turn them over or sold will be transferred to the control- supervisory authorities. It will also exclude the situation in which one legal entity received codes in the system, and shoes with these codes are entered into circulation by another legal entity.
Attempts to illegally use the marking codes will be instantly detected during scheduled and unscheduled inspections by control and supervisory authorities or the marking system itself at the first scan - at the cash desk of the store, in the wholesale link, by consumers using the Honest ZNAK mobile application. All information about violations from the system and the application will be immediately transferred to the control and oversight bodies, which will allow to determine with maximum accuracy the participants in the turnover who carry out their activities illegally.
“This is done in order to exclude situations in which participants in the turnover could receive free marking codes for residues in order to further use them for several years, trying to put into circulation and sell illegal products,” says the director of the General Business Department. analysis of CRPT Vera Volkova.
