Customers of the TsUM department store online store complain of a significant delay in the delivery of goods - more than two weeks. The problem arose due to the increased flow of orders during the sale period at the beginning of the year, when discounts on goods at the Central Department Store reached 50%, Vedomosti writes.
The store apologizes to customers for the inconvenience, and promises to solve the problem associated with the heavy workload of the online store. The sale at the Central Department Store started on January 2, discounts on items from fall-winter collections started at 30%, and from January 24 they grew up to 50%.
During this time, the store received five times more goods than the average for the year. According to SimilarWeb, in January 2019, customers visited tsum.ru 1,4 million times, compared with December 2018, resource traffic increased by 13%.
Representatives of the Central Department Store believe that the number of customers has increased not only because of the campaign, but also because the conditions for the purchase of goods at foreign sites have worsened since the beginning of the year - duties have increased, the waiting period for goods has increased, as now customers need to pay for themselves duties.
