Tsvetnoy Central Market named the best shopping center in Europe

The EuroShop Retail Design Awards, which recognize the most visible design projects in the retail sector, recognized Tsvetnoy department store as the best among European design shopping centers. The award is presented annually at the largest trade fair EuroShop in Düsseldorf.

Tsvetnoy opened in December 2010 on the site of the former Central Market on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. It was conceived as an analogue of London's Selfridges, where you can find everything in one building - from interior items to food. The seven floors of the department store house shops for men's and women's clothing, accessories, cosmetics and vintage items, as well as a farmer's market and restaurants.

The architectural design of Tsvetnoy was carried out by the Moscow bureau Meganom Project under the leadership of Yuri Grigoryan, and the interior design was carried out by three English companies. Studio HMKH made a floor with clothes, accessories, cosmetics and perfumes, Lifschutz, Davidson Sandilands - gastronomy, household goods and cafes, and DPA - lighting. The total area of ​​the department store is 36 square meters. m, including an observation deck on the roof.

The Tsvetnoy department store regularly holds exhibitions of contemporary art and performances: an exhibition of the most interesting shoes was shown there.
