Metropolis Shopping Center to Issue Debit Cards

Moscow Metropolis shopping center announced the launch of its own card product in partnership with Rocketbank. The debit cards of the Military Industrial Bank will become a key element of the loyalty program.

The Metropolis Card, MasterCard Gold debit bank cards with a chip and PayPass contactless payment option, will offer loyal visitors to the shopping mall (in addition to discounts in stores) a special rate with free banking service, which allows you to charge 14% per annum with an average monthly balance of 20 000 rubles and 1,5% cashback for card purchases worldwide.

“We build long-term relationships with our customers - investing in loyalty pays off handsomely. All our efforts today are aimed at ensuring that shoppers return to the mall, ”said Metropolis CEO Luc Mugel. - While creating the loyalty program, we tried to make a card that we ourselves would like to use. Everything is really very transparent and comfortable. We have a lot of ideas on how to reward loyal customers, how to provide them with a special service. "

It is planned that during the year more than 20% of tenants will join the Metropolis loyalty program. Currently partners are such brands as Etam, Gap, GapKids, MaxBrenner, Clarks, G-SHOCK, The Body Shop, L'Occitane, Reiss, LeCadeau, The Art of Shaving, Min-O-Min.

From January to April 2015, the loyalty program worked in a pilot mode, during this time more than 2,5 thousand cards were issued, the goal of 2015 is 8 thousand.
