UGG Releases Original Advertising Campaign for Fluff Yeah Slides
California-based Ugg has reissued its Fluff Yeah sheepleather slides and supported the shoe's launch with a fun ad campaign inspired by Los Angeles and classic sci-fi films, writes WWD.
The campaign's heroine is American stand-up comedian Otsuka Okatsuka, who poses in multi-colored flip-flops against the backdrop of a model of Los Angeles.
The miniature Los Angeles model was hand-built from wood, paper, and other practical materials. Construction took four weeks, with pre-production planning taking nearly two months.
The mockup also includes details referencing the Ugg brand, such as a replica of the Ugg Hollywood sign and a miniature Ugg delivery truck.
The Fluff Yeah slides were first released in 2018 and have been discontinued since 2022. Now, this popular model is back in stock. The upper is made of 10mm thick sheepleather and features an elastic strap with the Ugg graphic font. The heel height is approximately 4cm.
